The Mulberry tree is pretty and has a nice shape that can enhance a dull area in your yard with lots of shade, but grass will never grow beneath its limbs. On the other hand, it produces quite a bit of pollen and when the berries fall to ground makes a huge mess. It is also the only food source for silkworms.
